S.T. Johnson Under New Ownership

Oakland, CA, December 28, 2007 - S.T. Johnson Company announced it has been acquired by a private investor. Antonio De La O, a longtime combustion industry executive, was appointed new company president and announced plans to invest in improving S.T. Johnson product range and customer service capabilities.

“S.T. Johnson has a long and lustrous heritage providing high quality burners to a broad customer base in the commercial and small industrial steam generation market. We look forward to continuing and building upon this tradition of quality products and superior customer service for the benefit of our customers and the users of our equipment.” said Mr. De La O.

“I am very excited about the vision of our new owners and their commitment to investing in growth. Our customers will be the beneficiaries as we expand our ability to better serve their needs” said Todd Cole, S.T. Johnson’s General Manager.

The transaction involved the acquisition of all outstanding shares of Innovative Combustion Technologies, Inc. (S.T. Johnson Company). No financial details were provided.

S.T. Johnson is based in Oakland, California, and has a broad network of sales distributors in the US and overseas. Since 1903, S.T. Johnson has supplied a broad range of oil and gas fired burners for commercial and industrial steam generation. The company recently launched the RX-I burner, an ultra-low NOx burner combining for the first time in one compact package high efficiency and single digit NOx.
